Modern plastic surgery, by the idea of the ‘beautiful breasts,’ means the beauty of shape. The aim of a surgeon changing women's breasts is to keep it as natural and harmonious as possible. The most secure method for breast enlargement is the use of silicone implants. The quality of the implants is estimated by the risk of the appearance of fibrous capsule contracture (hardening of the capsules surrounding the implant). The implants do not cause intoxication and silicone allergy. They are totally inert. Their existence has no effect on pregnancy, breast-feeding and much more - on the health of babies. Women, after the breast surgery, are recommended to have an examination by a plastic surgeon or mammologist once a year, which, incidentally, is also normal for those who have had no surgery.

Plastic surgery is the only way to bring back self-confidence and psychological balance for women suffering from breast imperfections and the inhibitions caused by them. But before deciding on an operation to change the form of the breast, whether to enlarge, decrease or lift it, you must be examined (ultrasonography, mammography), and consult firstly with a mammologist, and then with a plastic surgeon. Together you make the decisions about choosing the method of prosthetics and the prosthesis itself: in each case the approach to solving the problem is individual. It depends not only on the patient’s wish, but also on the condition of the breast - its skin, glandular tissue, on the presence or absence of adipose tissue. They can be drop-shaped or round, and they are selected by the doctor according to the indications.
